About Skudin Surf

Skudin Surf brings the sport of surfing to people of all ages in a fun, positive and safe environment. The company offers a range of private instruction, group lessons, camps and corporate events for adults and children over a 10-week summer period in the seaside town of Long Beach, New York and Rockaway Beach 67th Street. The previous two summers were a demonstrable success as more than 800 surfers traveled to us from the tri-state area to participate.

The Skudin family has been teaching surfing for over 30 years. Parents Dave and Beth Skudin surfed together as children in the 60’s at Gilgo Beach, New York and shared their love of the sport with their four boys. The family comes from a heritage of lifeguards, swimmers and surfing champions. Dave and Beth raised their children in some of the most famous surf spots in the country, and have lived in Hawaii, the Outer Banks of North Carolina and Lido Beach, New York.
