About our Rockaway - NYC Adult Surf Camps
Summer Surfing Camps in Rockaway (Beach 67th Street) are open to adults of any skill level.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced surfer, our adult surf camps will enhance your surfing skills and experience. Skudin Surf provides surfboards, rash guards, and wetsuits (if needed). you will have an amazing day in the sun and surf... we guarantee it!
Rockaway (Beach 67th Street) Adult Surf Camp Activities
- Activities: meet certified NSSIA instructors about ocean safety, rip currents, surf safety, and surf etiquette
- Surf safety : Learn how to enter and exit the surf, and ride safely, with introduction to the etiquette of surfing to avoid accidents.
- Ocean safety : Learn the different types of ocean and surf currents and how to safely avoid and/or maneuver through them.
- Land instruction: Learn the "pop up" where students will be taught how to jump correctly from a prone position to a proper surfing stance.
- Ocean surf instruction: Professional and master surf instructors will be in the water assisting students in the correct way to catch and ride waves on their longboard surf boards.
- When you get tired we have amenities: Snack, beverages and T-shirt will be provided. Surf board, wetsuit, and rash guard are also provided.
